Testimonials (propaganda?!?) One of the nicest aspects of running a business is receiving positive feedback from the people below. Receiving mails like these always gives me a big lift and helps make me feel as though I'm really doing something worthwhile. I'd just like to say: Thank you all very much for contributing your thoughts and feedback - I can't believe you've actually taken the time to sit down and write to me personally and for that I'm sincerely grateful. This page was updated on the 31st of May,
2006 31 May, 2006 (Sam A.) We'd slipped up big-time with overlooking - and
eventually forgetting all about his order (yes, we are human too!) and this was
our e-mail exchange relating to resolving this matter: Hi Sam,
Sir,
2 December, 2003 (Candy, Swindon, England) Another lovely e-mail arrived the other day. As it so happened, her map arrived in just four days and she wrote to let me know it arrived safely. Dear Mason After asking if we could use her reply in our Testimonials page, Candy replied with these comments regarding shopping online: Dear Mason Candy can be contacted through: cmso@nerc.ac.uk 25 November, 2003 (Sandra Halley, USA) We received an e-mail from Sandra asking if we could possibly organise gift wrapping for a large map she'd ordered as a birthday gift for a friend in Ireland. This we were more than happy to do and the map actually arrived the day before his birthday! This was her response: Just wanted to let you know that John Burke received his map on Nov. 21, one day before his birthday. He called me yesterday and he is thrilled with his present. Mason, I want you to know that I really appreciate all your help in getting this map ready to mail. You went well beyond what would be expected of you. You made this order so easy to do. I will always remember your help and if anyone ever asks me where to buy a map, I won't hesitate to give your name. Take care and enjoy the up-coming holiday season. Regards, Sandra We asked for permission to include her e-mail within our Testimonials Page and again Sandra replied with another lovely e-mail: I would be happy to give my permission to use my e-mail on your Sandra may be contacted through the following address: h***comet@sbcglobal.net (please remove each asterix before mailing) 6 August, 2003 (Harold, Texas, USA) Hello Mr Mason Blunt, Harold XXXXX 27 July, 2003 (Paul, Pine Crest School, Fort Lauderdale, Florida) It sure helps having friends like Harry Potter... I ordered from you and from California the same hour; your order arrived first! Thanks for great service, and the map is spectacular. Thanks again. Thanks for letting me use your testimonial; much appreciated. Paul also says he's willing for people to mail him if they feel uncomfortable about ordering online. Feel free to use my testimonial. I'll deal with the spammers: I have a program that returns 10 senseless emails per hour 24 hours a day to any address I specify. Anyone who "spams" me gets their due. 19 July, 2003 (Brian, Manchester, United Kingdom (Britain)) Dear Mr Blunt, Many thanks for your prompt dispatch of my order which 20 June, 2003 (Marcy, Oregon, United States) Marcy, thanks for letting me know your order arrived as well as your kind words about the stamps we put on the package. When I was a kid, I used to love receiving colorful postage stamps in the mail that I could add to my collection. Therefore, it's why I take the extra time to place actual postage stamps on our mailing tubes rather than postage franked labels. I forgot to tell you I thought the stamps on the mailing tube were great. 15 June, 2003 (Michael, Perth, Western Australia) Occasionally, we're out of stock of a particular map. In this case, Michael wanted a large World Map and we'd just sold out of that type of map. Therefore, I e-mailed Michael to let him know that we would NOT bill his credit card until new stock arrived when we would process and mail his order - this was his response. Mr Mason Blunt, 13 June, 2003 (Deborah and Ian, New York, United States) I e-mailed them back to say thanks and this was their second response. 11 June, 2003 (Chris, Seoul, Korea) (we actually stock this map now) Mason, Thanks for the effort on this! Yes, I would appreciate it if you could locate on these "upside down" maps and send it on to me. Please use the same card number as on the previous order...Also, if yu have a brochure of your products, send that along as well. Again, many thanks for the extra effort! All the best, Chris >From: "masonsmaps.com" >Reply-To: "masonsmaps.com" >Hi Chris, > Regards, >Mason Blunt, >Mason's Maps. > Many thanks! 29 May, 2003 (Paul and Tahni, United States) Interior design made easy... Thanks, once again, for your prompt response. I have pointed my interior 1 May, 2003 (Dennis, Kyoto, Japan.) It's always nice to know that the maps I've sent arrived - thanks for your kind words as well. Mr Blunt; 18 January, 2003 (Rebecca, Sydney, Australia) I received this mail not long after sending her order. Dear Mason, 15th January, 2003 (Ramzy; Portland, Oregon) Great. Thanks for the quick reply. Very pleased with your service. Dont worry about the bookmarks. They will be wasted. Good luck with your business. 8th January, 2003 (Chris Thomas, Melbourne) Dear Mason, We recently ordered some National Geographic Maps from your company and I'm just dropping you a note to personally thankyou for your outstanding customer service, extremely fast shipping and exceptional packaging.
